Stacey Bussel is a New Jersey-based attorney at Stotler Hayes.  After completing her undergraduate education at the University of Michigan, Stacey attended the University of Miami, School of Law as part of the Miami Scholar’s Program.  

Upon graduation from law school, Stacey accepted a position as a public interest attorney in Miami where she directed the office’s Homeless Legal Advocacy and Ryan White Projects.  Stacey returned to NJ, where she was born and raised, and worked for 16 years as founder and directing attorney of Legal Service’s medical-legal partnership – The Legal Assistance to Medical Patients Project (LAMP).  Following her time with LAMP, Stacey worked for the state’s Protection and Advocacy Organization – Disability Rights NJ – for two years, working as a managing attorney and director or discretionary grants. 

When not working, Stacey enjoys spending time with her husband and two children and most especially going for hikes and spending time with her rescue dog (and kitty).

Stacey also serves on the board of Partner’s in Animal Welfare (PAW) – a NJ based organization focused on animal advocacy and welfare.
