Darlene’s journey to the legal profession is enriched by over a decade of invaluable nursing experience in long-term care. As a registered nurse, she held various pivotal roles within skilled nursing facilities, including Director of Nursing and Regional Clinical Reimbursement Specialist. This hands-on experience provided her with a profound understanding of the challenges confronting long-term care providers, fueling her passion for advocacy on their behalf.
Before joining Stotler Hayes Group, Darlene embarked on a rewarding stint as a medical malpractice attorney in Boston, Massachusetts, where she spent over three years applying her unique blend of medical and legal expertise to serve her clients diligently.
Her academic pursuits reflect her unwavering commitment to excellence. Darlene earned her Juris Doctorate (J.D.) from the Massachusetts School of Law in 2019, demonstrating her dedication by pursuing her degree at night while maintaining full-time employment. Her academic achievements were recognized with the CALI of Excellence Award for the highest grade in Evidence and Criminal Procedure. Throughout her legal education, she remained actively engaged, serving as a member of her law school’s mock trial team and continuing to volunteer her time as a trial judge/juror for the American Association of Justice’s (AAJ) annual mock trial.
Darlene is licensed to practice law in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and the State of New Hampshire, adding another layer of versatility to her legal practice. Additionally, she holds a Bachelor of Nursing from Chamberlain College of Nursing and an Associate of Nursing from Roxbury Community College, further reinforcing her expertise in healthcare.
Currently residing in Massachusetts with her husband, daughter, and cherished feline companions, Darlene finds solace and rejuvenation in leisure activities such as golfing, barre workouts, puzzle games, and cherished moments with her loved ones. Her multifaceted background, unwavering dedication, and commitment to service are why we love having her on the Stotler Hayes team!
