Before joining Stotler Hayes, Jake gained invaluable experience working for the South Carolina Department of Social Services, where he handled abuse and neglect cases for both child protective services and adult protective services. His dedication to serving vulnerable populations laid the groundwork for his legal career.
Jake’s academic journey includes earning his Juris Doctorate from the University at Buffalo School of Law in 2019, following his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University at Brockport in Rochester, New York, in 2014.
Currently licensed to practice law in Alabama, South Carolina, and Tennessee, Jake resides in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, with his wife and daughter. Beyond his legal commitments, Jake finds fulfillment in various pursuits. He dedicates his free time to training in kickboxing and jiu-jitsu, channeling his energy into physical fitness and personal growth. On leisurely days, he can be found spending time with his two daughters or reading on the beach while his wife searches for shark teeth, embracing the serenity of coastal living. Jake’s diverse interests and commitment to his family and community exemplify his multifaceted approach to life.
